IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS)
In light of the recent developments surrounding the Coronavirus, known globally as COVID-19, the staff at Warmstone Family Dentistry have felt it necessary to update our patients on our actions, preventions and policies. This has become a time where it is very difficult to continue to serve the community and at the same time protect the community and our staff.
We have decided to make drastic changes to our operations. We have shut down hygiene services and any elective or non-essential services until further notice. We will not remain open to the public on a regular basis. It is important to know that we have people on our team that want to serve the community and help in any way that we can. We know there is a burden on the hospital system therefore we want to do our part to alleviate some of the burden by ensuring patients with dental emergencies don’t further clog up the system. In other countries overwhelmed hospital systems is the crisis at hand.
We are continuing to see any patients (existing or new) on an emergency basis by appointment only. Our team will be on call so you need to book an appointment. No walk ins. To further protect the safety of our team, patients and not contribute to community spread we will use a social distancing policy that will allow only for one patient to be booked at a time. This will decrease risks for all.
We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. Warmstone is trying to do our best to contribute to beating this virus as a community. We also want to thank all of the great business leaders in the community who are working together to put protection over profit as we all make way through these difficult times. Please be aware that we are currently monitoring the situation and acting accordingly to ensure the health and safety of our patients, staff and their family members.
