About Meagan
Meagan was born in Edmonton, Alberta and moved to various locations across Canada throughout her childhood. Now she is happy to call Carp her home, having lived there for the past ten years. Meagan graduated from Algonquin College with an Advanced Dental Hygiene Diploma in 2014. She strives to provide the best care and education, working with her patients to develop and achieve their individual goals for optimal oral health.
Meagan loves volunteering her time for local and international organizations. Over the past three years she has participated in Free Day of Dentistry events in Ottawa and Carp, including Dr. Yazdani’s annual event. In 2014 she participated in OHTH’s Sharing Smiles Day, as well as a charitable experience called The Breath of Life – Helping Children Thrive. Through The Breath of Life—which is supported by CPAR and Algonquin College—Meagan had the opportunity to travel to Tanzania to teach oral health care instruction to local mothers. When she is not serving patients or volunteering her time and skills, Meagan enjoys spending time outdoors at the cottage, camping and traveling to new destinations.
